UAE’s Emirates Airline to launch its Bitcoin Payment Service

According to a recent statement given by one of the major United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s airlines, Emirates Airline, it is intending to approve “bitcoin as a payment service.” The company is going to hire employees in order to develop applications that it will use to monitor the requirements of its clients.Two Different Applications and Approaches According to  Adel Ahmed Al-Redha, the chief operating officer (COO) of Emirates Airline, one of the major United Arab Emirates (UAE) Airlines, it is going to launch its Bitcoin payment service in the near future. Apart from that, on its webpage, the airline is also going to add non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles.Reports of the airline’s plan to embrace bitcoin come just a few weeks after it revealed its NFT and metaverse plans. The objective of the organization with the metaverse release is to make sure the airline is “consorted with the UAE’s vision for the digital economy,” according to a report issued by Bitcoin.com News.Al Redha suggested in a note published in Arab News that his organization possibly needs to hire workers in order to help it in developing apps. And the company is going to use these applications to monitor the requirements of its customers which will further help the company to offer a better bitcoin payment service to its clients. Furthermore, he also talked about the differences between NFTs as well as the metaverse.According to him,“NFTs and metaverse are two different applications and approaches. With the metaverse, you will be able to transform your whole processes — whether it is in operation, training, sales on the website, or complete experience — into a metaverse type application, but more importantly making it interactive.”However, still, we don’t have any official information about when the airline is going to roll out its bitcoin payment service.
